DAY 15 – PRAYER FOR OUR CHILDREN (THE NEXT GENERATION)
- Father, thank you for our children, and grandchildren. Thank you for teaching them; thank you for making them a sign and a wonder in their generation in Jesus’ name Amen.
- Jeremiah 29v 11: Thank you for the thoughts you think towards them, to give them hope and a future.
- Luke 2 vs 43-52: Oh God by your grace we restrain our children from following the multitude but your purpose and your will in Jesus’ name – Amen.
- Our children will know and understand the purpose of God for their lives, they will not follow the ideals of the world John 15 vs 1-8. They will be established and rooted in Christ to bear fruits for the kingdom of God.
- Isaiah 11 vs 1-5: They will exude the graces manifest in wisdom, knowledge and understanding in Jesus name.
- Luke 2 vs 47-48: Our children shall exude wisdom and be outstanding in their generation, their purposes shall not be restrained nor thwarted, they shall excel in their field of endeavours in Jesus name. Amen.
- Daniel 1 v 3, 8: Our children and grand children shall not be corrupted by the enticement of their generation and world; they shall not be defiled by the dainties of the palace.
- They shall be sought for by kings as Daniels and Joseph’s company to interpret dreams / visions and leaders of their time to the glory of God.
- They shall find favour before God and men. Grace and mercy shall be their watchword for they shall be wiser than their teachers.
- They shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be their peace. Esther 2 vs 8 – 9; 4 vs 13-14; Micah 4 vs 2 – 5.
- Gen. 39 vs 3, 6-9; Num 23 v 23: Our children in their various places of planting shall eschew evil and come to the full knowledge of the Lord to become leaders of nations.
- We restrain and revoke every enchantment against our children in schools, colleges and higher institution even in their families in Jesus name. Amen. Col. 3 vs 3-9.
- Ps 45 vs 9-17; Col. 3 vs 20 – 21: We establish God’s order over our children that they will grow as princes / princesses after the similitude of the palace. We revoke every contrary speaking of failures from their foundations that will pull them down in Jesus name – Amen.
- Isaiah 9 vs 6-7; Col. 3 v 16: May Jesus be revealed to our children as the Prince of peace, Wonderful Counselor, everlasting Father, Powerful God, may Jesus lead them all through their lives; May the revelation of Jesus keep them on the solid rock and they shall not be dammed in Jesus name – Amen.
- Joel 2 vs 28-29; Acts 1 v 8: May our children and grand children receive the promise of the Holy Spirit; May the indwelling Spirit guide them throughout their lives in Jesus name – Amen.
- Micah 4 vs 11 – 12; Eccl. 5 v 12: We revoke every satanic plans against our children / grand children, only the counsel of God will stand concerning their lives; they will fulfill only God’s special purpose over their lives in Jesus name – Amen.
- We restrain and revoke satanic ideologies brought to our children through schools and government policies in Jesus name – Amen.
- We establish the kingdom of God and His order in our nation. By the authority of God our children shall braze trails and preach the gospel in season and out of season in Jesus name – Amen.
- Our children shall answer our enemies at the gate in Jesus name. Amen.
- We invoke the blessings of God upon our children, and we shall leave inheritance for our children/children’s children in Jesus name. Gal. 3vs 13-14; Col. 3 vs 14 -15; Gen. 49 vs 1 , 22 -26.
